For Immediate Release: March 5, 2018
Fort Menendez at Old Florida Museum “IS ON THE MOVE”
After 23 plus years OFM will be on the move again. OFM will be relocating to the Florida Agricultural Museum located just south of the St Johns County Line on US1 in Palm Coast.
Under the supervision of Daniel Carignan, OFM’s Operations Manager, the new location will use the same programs and formula that everyone has come to know and enjoy. It is the intention to duplicate the entire experience at this new location.
We are excited about the move to our new location. It affords us the opportunity to incorporate our programs into the existing ones at the Agricultural Museum creating a richer experience.
Our goal is to have several programs ready for the 2019/20 school season.
General Public tours may start as early as the summer of 2019.
We would like to thank everyone who have become part of the OFM family over the years and look forward to seeing you in the future.
Because the Ag Museum is a “Not for Profit” entity, the funds will be raised for the entire project by donations and special events. Any person or organization that wish to donate time, money or materials to help the museum come to fruition may donate accordingly. Please contact the Florida Agricultural Museum at 386-446-7630.
We understand that booking field trips is a time sensitive issue.
